This is crap, total crap. Have you seen this?
Aftermath of Aqua Teen Hunger Force LED bomb scare in Boston.
Looks
strangely similar to the
Mario Mushroom project I've been working on, only less deadly as it hasn't left my living room. Is it a coincidence that a couple months after I posted that on this here Balrog they do that sort of marketing campaign? Probably... but it didn't stop me from saying "Those bastards stole my idea!" I just don't want it to be known as "Hey, that's like the Aqua Teen bomb thing", but I suppose it's far too late for that.
Today was a fun day, part of it included kidnapping Alice and going to the
2007 Northwest Yo-Yo Championships (got my button!). Aside from seeing some awesome yo-yo tricks from people of all ages, it was the musical selections that really got me. One was punk/rock remake of a song by Ursula in The Little Mermaid. But even better than that was the
Kip-stylin' guy whose freestyle music was the Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers theme (remix)! Those who frequent yo-yo competitions will know that they announce your final 15 seconds to perform - for his music, the last 15 seconds was some big explosive "And now, the moment you've been waiting for... 15 seconds! And now... it's... HERE!" It was incredible. His own music mix, in time with their 15 second rule, and a 3-minute Rescue Rangers mix (which the announcer was also amazed by). I'm so glad I went.
I'm going to a
Vancouver PHP conference next week. Time for me to nerd it up, hoo yeah! I'm so excited I could calculate PI to a thousand places.
Superbowl!
