I'm deeply troubled. The plan was perfect. I finally decided to yes, go to Korea, at a wonderful time that would allow me to see two Sunmi and Andrea w/ ample time to explore on my own. But, Andrea has learned tonight that she can't make it! I'm so bummed! How can she not go? I need to figure out... a new plan. Do I go before I had planned? After? Not at all? How can I not go when I'm so emotionally vested now? I told my mom I was going to Korea last night, and she said 'I hope you're not going to South Korea!' ...had to set her straight.

So, to get over it I rented a couple of DVDs from Rain City - Mr. Show Season 1 and Lil' Pimp. Mr. Show is great - I've always wanted to see it, I know my homegirl Science is a big fan. Very smart comedy. My fave line so far is (in the context of speaking to Jesus as Marshall, the lost apostle) "Jesus, I used to be like you - smelly, dirty, I thought I was the son of God!" Jack Black's on this show - that's pretty cool. No rental places around here have 2LDK, which I'd like to see.

The Rite-Aid across the street has been completely demolished, prior to 8:30am this morning.

Umm, I heard a new Postal Service song on KEXP yesterday. I thought that was lovely. Quite emo but that's ok. They're releasing a new single, which is silly since they haven't really made any new songs in two years that I know of.

Last week Jason and I took a trip to nerdsville piping various commands through the soundcard of our Linux box at work. cat /var/log/* -la > /dev/audio rules.

My house has been completely consumed by plants. So begins this chapter in my new/old roommate life with Caireny.
