What is it?
This was a video for Luxury Real Estate's 10th annual members conference, held here in Seattle for 2005. Made for the web team presentation, it not only gave a history of the website over the past ten years, but also gave a glimpse into what's coming with our new version of LuxuryRealEstate.com. It also had the right recipe for lots-o-laughs.

How the Web Was Won

Notes
· This video barely made it. It was completed at about 9:10am, got into the presentation area at 9:25am, and was presented at 9:35am on the same day. Oh... My... God.
· The first run of rendering this, two hours before presentation time, turned out as complete rubbish. It was a race against time to finish!
· This took about 30-35 hours from planning through completion.
· After the conference, we received a lot of feedback about how the video, and our sense of humor, were very refreshing and welcome compared to other real estate conferences.
· After making fun of the CEO and the director of the company... I still have a job!

Tech
· Done with Premiere Pro 1.5 and Cool Edit Pro.
· Premiere is an evil beast that will forsake you in your darkest hour · my first run of rendering this resulted in several missing video tracks and missing fades for the first third of the video.

nevermind... the video was good. i don't hate you THAT much.
Micah E Pringle... again, 9-14-2006 with $20.36
dirty. i was listening to "there cannot be a close second" by copeland... a great band you need to hear if you haven't. and right at the moment the song was it's best I clicked on your video... it stopped my song and loaded your video on my player. i hate you for that. you and pirates. hate. both.
Andrea, 10-6-2005 with $23.50
I laughed, I cried, I loved it! The feel-good hit of the season! This one is Oscar-bound! (I think I hit all the cheese-ball lines Ebert uses...)
