Well, I'm pleased to announce that the first annual LRE Tech Exchange was a complete success, and with such success, I can enjoy such things as the weekend again! It was a great experience, and I met some great people who (with a couple exceptions) can really hold their liquor. I even gave a presentation and told upwards of a dozen pirate jokes to a crowd of ~40. I like to think that that in itself should be worth the price of the conference.

I'm really just happy it all went so well, we've been planning it and have had it consume our lives for a while now, time to bask in the glory.
