It's been a busy but fun week. I spent Superbowl Sunday on Vashon w/ a couple friends, and it was interesting because we didn't leave until the last ferry, which was 1:30am. That means we were in the bar from when the game started, about 3, to about 1am. That's much too long - I'll bet I have lung cancer now!
...and the rest stays on Vashon.
Before the Superbowl I went to I Heart Rummage at the
Crocodile (there's another one on March 6) and looked at all the fun things independent craft-makers have to offer. I even picked up a print of a photo by Angela Paterson, a local photographer. It's a toy-ish looking
AT-AT with a
Louis Vuitton pattern projected over it. It is sweet! She's showing her work at some gallery Friday (tomorrow), along with a few other people from the rummage thing, I might check it out.
6-8 weeks ago I sent away 4 UPC codes of E.L.Fudge cookies, plus $1.99 shipping and handling, and yesterday I was rewarded with five Scooby-Doo Mystery DVD-ROMs! I went through the first one yesterday ,and although it was very cheesey (all made in Flash) and had ads to install AOL
everywhere, I was able to find the good stuff. They have these game demos that are really amazing, even for edutainment titles - I did indeed learn a few words of Spanish while helping the Power Puff Girls hit the right piñatas.
This Saturday is my screen debut as Rabbit #3 in the student film I'm helping with. Years from now people will look at me with disbelief - "Whoa, there goes Rabbit #3 from that groundbreaking fiml!" Yes, I know.
Andrea, EBNY, and others are going to Vegas next week! Lucky mofos! Andrea, are you sure I can't fit in your checked luggage?

Hey, that comment came from Amsterdam. Miko, are you high?
