Alice and I have been going to fancy parties all month, and our last was with Sara and friends... guess who was there? Santa Claus, of course! And he was running a tab. He was pretty drunk and was cracking me up all night. We got a picture:



Quick story - Alice and I were getting groceries the other day and I was wearing my Domo-kun hoodie (a gift of Christmas past)... and the meme-wise grocery bagger and I had a little conversation.

Bagger: I like your sweatshirt.
Me: Why, thank you.
Bagger: It makes me think of kittens.
Me: (knowing smile and nod)
Checker: Kittens?
Bagger: (pause) You know... small cats?
Checker: Yes, I'm familiar with kittens.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, though I know not everybody will find that so funny. Small cats, ha!

So happy holidays everybody. I hope 2007 has treated everybody well and the next year is doubly fantastic! I know I don't talk to as many friends as I should but I keep you all in mind.
