Oh crap, ANTM is on...
Tunes Circus Contraption - March in A Minor (yee hee hee hee hee)

Yesterday Uwajimaya had their giant anniversary sale - 10% off everything! Really, everything! I apologize for not telling my local Asian friends sooner. So I went absolutely nuts and bought a bunch of crap. Wasabi peas, varieties of cuttlefish, beverages of the world... mmm... even Hello Kitty 'chewing candy'! Everything's fair game when it's 10% off.

I also got some rice candy, with this tattoo:

Monkey! Monkey!

At lunch a girl asked if that was a real tattoo... I fessed up.

I haven't been up to anything really exciting, just busy with work and life. I did go to a pumpkin patch last weekend and scored two giant pumpkins - that was fun! Jason and I caught some sickness though, probably from being away from a computer too long (though what a great sickness that would be). Great corn maze - it had bridges! I must also declare that Sara and I will be hosting the world's finest Halloween party on Halloween, which will eventually move to Neumo's, for their Day of the Dead ball.

this weekend I shall return to the pumpkin path to play the role of Cornelius the Farmer, and another role, in a new flick by Erin n' Ilsa, UW film fans extraordinaire.

Keeping up my habit of stealing things from Jason, I tried throwing my camera up in the air with a slow shutter speed... with my disco ball on. I got this:

Ooh, sparklies!

However, upon closer inspection, that's my computer monitor being repeated on the right.

I've come across many amazing things over the past week:

- My Luxury Real Estate video got some major press - Inman News is huge.
- Rural Oregon kicks some major wi-fi ass... just not rural enough, though.
- This looks like a great flick on many levels: Darkon
- I totally missed my chance to ride this wave, but boy did I have a great idea for it. Alas, the window of opportunity has closed.
- Pir8Jokes.com is now PirateJokes.net!
- Christmas, anybody?
- My next tv will appear to float in three dimensions!
- I was hoping to see Artimage Shanks from Circus Contraption at The Funhouse next week, but apparently it's a different Artimage Shanks. Nuts. Maybe I'll go see Tractor Sex Fatality instead.

In response to my last post - Hi EBBQ! I'm happy you could escape school long enough to say hello!

Last week I also spent some time trying to sell off some excess consumer goods that Alice had laying around her condo (and a couple extras of my own). Here are selections the actual ads I put online, minus photos and boring stuff:

Fantastic small office-style chair - $10
Date: 2005-10-10, 10:34PM PDT

This chair is dy-no-mite. Why? Because you see, dynamite comes in a small package, but has a big punch! That is what this chair is like. It's small, but it delivers a big punch... of convenience!

Does all the things those big office chairs do, but is smaller! Easy to hide. Easy to store under desks. Sized up at 18" x 20", this chair also adjusts between 16" an 21" to the top of the chair.

This is a chair that will love your butt. If you would like some butt-love from this chair, please drop me a line, and you can pick it up Wednesday/Thursday/something. Thanks for checking it out!

All-In-One Dell Color Printer/Scanner/Copier/Faxer - oh yeah! - $20
Date: 2005-10-10, 10:34PM PDT

...and the people said "Please, we have no space on our small college student desks! Please, almighty Dell, give us a way to print, and scan, and copy, and faxing would be cool, all from the same machine!"

Their cries were not ignored. "Hark, my children!" said Dell. "I bring to you the Dell A920 All-In-One Printer!" And there was much rejoicing.

As Dell once offered this to their loyal customers, I now offer it to you. It's about a year and a half old and has never been used, not even plugged in! It's NEW! Features:

- cut -
- Has CD with all sorts of goodies - drivers, OCR software (ABBYY FineReader 5.0 Sprint, which is pretty bitchin' OCR software), image editing things, more

Shiatsu Massager! Not to be confused with a shitzu massager - $15
Date: 2005-10-10, 11:06PM PDT

This is the closest thing to a robot I've ever had the pleasure of having in my home. Just imagine - you can take years of study in shiatsu massage and recreate them (ok, to an extent) in amazing mechanical thumbs! These thumbs never get tired. If you want a massage for an hour straight, no breaks, you can do so. And, you can do so on the included inflatable headrest pillow!

- cut -

Please do not confuse this with a shitzu massager. You can pick this up this week, with the exception of Tuesday as I will be away. Thanks for checking it out!

Basic stand-up vacuum... just like the one you're looking for! - $20
Date: 2005-10-10, 11:07PM PDT

WHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Molly: MOOOOooom! Do you have to vacuum now? I'm trying to watch KimPossible!

WHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Molly: (rolling eyes) Cheese and crackers, I'm out of here!

- End Scene -

What better way to get kids out of the house than to vacuum in front of the tv? This is a great vacuum that I've used for probably four years, and it still runs great. Good fortune has blessed me with a free fancy-schmancy vacuum, so this one has to hit the road (but it knows that it's not personal - all business, y'know). Features:

- cut -
- Vacuum is one of only four words in the entire English language with two consecutive 'U's

This vacuum was loved - will you continue the legacy? Drop me an email if interested. Thanks for checking it out! Available for pickup most days after Tuesday.

Metal CD storage thingie for sale - $5
Date: 2005-10-09, 8:11PM PDT

Oh, how far we go back. The White Stripes. Offspring. Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits. Even Bach. Now, you can continue the legacy of my CD storage contraption, which I am forced to abandon due to my increased CD collection. Features:

- cut -

And then you said:
EBouttahermind, 10-24-2005 with $19.28
Hey Mike! The posts were great...did Alice sell those things? By the way, way to go, you "young, tech savvy staff", you! Happy Halloween! Can't believe it was already a year ago that we went to your big warehouse party hosted by Circus Contraption! "Thriller" is playing through my head! :)
OMG, 10-20-2005 with $11.29
I think I saw the TV hologram thing in, like, 1999.
