Wait, check these videos out first:
Little Superstar
Dance Monkey, Dance!
I've returned to Seattle, and with it, I've returned to my responsibilities. Web clients, landlords, psssh. More pirates, please.
I will uncover details from my month+ disappearance later. But for now... I want to tell you about two things that could change my life, and maybe yours, if they could fit into my budget right now.
#1:
The Airswitch. This lamp uses the movement of your hand to turn on, off, and dim brighter and not-so-brighter. They guys also made the original lavalamp... and I can't imagine anything more fantastic than owning their entire lighting collection.
#2 - this is even cooler than futuristic light -
Biomechanical Stilts. Jump 10 ft in the air. Make 7 ft strides as you 'walk'. Run at ~23mph. Do
flips over Jay Leno. Definitely on my wish list. I found out about these from
this guy who wants to jump across the Arizona desert because he's unbalanced.
I'd also like to be able to
ditch my LCD for a throw pillow, holy crap, light emitting fabrics are hot-t-t! But maybe not for shirts.
Tonight I watched
4 Eyed Monsters - good flick. Inspirational. Those two have some good concepts. Kat, if you're reading this, you should definitely see that movie.
Disneyland was great. California was great. Here are a few pictures:

I appreciate both videos you initally linked above, but the second one is definately the most "nifty" to me. So much truth and understanding in such a simple idea. At least, it really puts the "human condition" in a better perspective. And, you get cameos by Teller (of Penn & Teller) and the Flying Spaghetti Monster... [74 more to go]

(definately the god of choice for the godless seeking well-honed satire)
