Tunes Citizen Cope - Bullet and a Target

This weekend was pretty crazy. It involved dancing @ The Mirabeau Room (which I cannot correctly pronounce) w/ a hip-hop group, Jumbalaya. That's funny because I'm not really a hip-hop guy, but the night was a ton of fun, with people coming up from the crowd and just 'flowin'. I almost starting using the N-word - it was that ill (y'know, ill in that good way?).

Umm... got a three-month overdue haircut... umm... ushered for a show, Woman in Black, which was good. David Pichette's a great local actor, I've seen him in three plays now. I also saw Zack's band The Unemployables... they're playing a show somewhere on the 24th if anybody in town wants to be bombarded with the finest punk rock this side of the Columbia!

The big deal was Sunday. James, Nancy, Andrea, and I all went on an enormous journey, via bicycle, to Castle Red Hook in Woodinville. It was probably 15 miles both ways - seemed like a big task to me at first but it was a good time! The trail was so flat, it was really nice... I hardly even used Spokey's electric might. Highlights of the trip were seeing wild chickens (and other fowl) in the road around Kenmore, seeing a one-legged bicyclist (who was working awfully hard, let me tell you), and attempting to drink ourselves silly before riding the 15 miles back.

You know what sucks? Lent. Boy am I glad I didn't fall into that crowd. James is so screwed.

In other news, Jason has an incredible camera. Whoa Blossom, whoa.

If all goes well, the film I've been involved with (I think it's called 28:06) will be done by the end of the month! Woo hoo! I'm excited to start editing the sound on that mofo.

So about that JavaScript raytracer... I did another scene overnight at work - it took 13 hours! But check it out - two light sources, oh yes.

Smells 3D!

Though not audibly a rhyme, paprikas would still be a legitimate sight rhyme. Many a learned Englishman utilized the powerful sight rhyme when all else failed. Though, I don't think you can pluralize paprika in this way. Much like it's close cousin deer, paprika is both singular and plural. For example: "Look at th... [82 more to go]

I still rspond to Paprika, but for these purposes it just doesn't rhyme well enough. Andrea, you would know what I'm talking about if you actually sat down and listened to Deeze dawgs eat asparagus (in yo mama's hood) sometime.
Alfredo, 3-9-2005 with $18.10
Wouldn't plural "Paprikas" be appropriate? ByKrakie!
Garhan, 3-9-2005 with $15.36
On a side note, I believe 'Paprika' was also synonymous with 'Karikas' at some point in time.

Dear Customer Service Respresentative,
When I click on other months to relive the glory of previous posts, nothing happens and a note at the bottom says "error on page". Please fix this.

Also, though your last name indeed rhymes with 'asparagus,' use of 'asparagus' does not imply your last name, s... [70 more to go]
Mike, 3-9-2005 with $13.25
Everyone knows that it's essential to rhyme the word 'asparagus' with 'Karikas'.
Andrea, 3-9-2005 with $10.03
Umm... not sure how to say this, but... asparagus is not your last name.
Mike, 3-8-2005 with $20.35
You never heard that piece, "Deeze dawgs eat asparagus (in yo mama's hood)"? I think that's the only hip-hop song that effectively uses my last name.
Jason, 3-8-2005 with $19.10
Mike's blacker than midnight on Broadway and Myrtle. Mos Def wrote that after meeting Mike, but couldn't work anything with Karikas into the rhyme. He's only got so much flow.
Andrea, 3-8-2005 with $17.25
Do you know what you look like to the rest of us? Can someone please give Mike a mirror so it never occurs to him again to "use the 'N' word"??!?
