It's OVER!
Tunes Pirates-R-Us - KYAR (Pirate Radio)

Quickie update - two weeks ago I gave my notice to LuxuryRealEstate that I'll be leaving on June 23rd to pursue my own business, Karikas Interactive, 100%. This is to put an end to the troubling aspect of the last three years where I was working a 40 (or 50 or 60) hour week plus KI work on nights and weekends (and any other time I had free minutes), mainly at the expense of my social life. Plus, the time is right, as I either become a nationwide traveler preachin' the gospel of LRE or jump in to KI full time... and I've gotta do what I've gotta do. LRE's been full of good times and was awfully close to a free education in business, my time there was well spent for all parties involved.

The worst part about this will be leaving the people at LRE, as they really are fantastic. I'm going to have to start sneaking up on the Jasons and Mikos and Christinas and Sunmis and the other twenty people without web sites. I'm going to miss them all, they're all rockstars there, every one of them for different reasons (though it turns out that Bob really is a rockstar).

What does Karikas Interactive do, you ask? Adding dynamic systems to existing web sites, redesigns and new web sites, very good hosting rates, and video editing. It's also a vehicle for the commercial end of Pirate Jokes dot net. Oh, the plans I have for that site, you have no idea. I had a dream two nights ago that I stood in for somebody in a live comedy variety show here in Seattle and afterwards I started telling the whole audience about PirateJokes.net. Probably because I was doing the same thing at Artist James' wedding (fun fun fun!) last week. I've gotta tone it down I think. Though I have been in a very piratey mood, what with my new soundtrack from Pirates-R-Us and the mutiny of my real job.

I'm also dabbling with open sourcery right now, I've got a fresh install of Windows XP running Thunderbird and Open Office now, with a dual-bootereenie of Ubuntu Linux. My geek side is just going crazy!

Dude there was this dude with a trumpet at work last week and he just got in the middle of the street on a little island and just started playing sweet sweet trumpet music and it was so awesome and unexpected that I really wish he'd come back! Because how cool is listening to random trumpet music in the middle of the day?

If KI flops I'm going to become a spy.

This is amazing, wish I had a yard again (James V will surely help me with this)
