Tunes My deaf parents talking as loud as they can, as always

Day four in Wallowa. This change of pace to the slow country life is a very welcome one, though I'll be happy to get back to Seattle in a few days. At least Texas isn't pissed at me.

It's been a great trip - I've seen a lot of people that I only see once every one to four years, and that's nice. I mostly run into people at the grocery store, the bar, the road, etc. It's been trippy going to the bar, since I was never 21 when I lived here. I meet lots of old classmates there. One's a poolshark now, with his own pool stick and everything!

I spent most of today w/ old friends Jeromie (aka Bunch) and Dana, the newlyweds that could, and Bunch's parents, who were a welcome sight. Good, fun people. My favorite 'married' quote from Bunch today was 'Shut the hell up!' Joking of course, but it'll still make for good stories to interested parties.

On Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, my family made the hour-long trip to Wal*Mart and spent a ridiculous amount of money. Although we're all still recovering from my grandmother's death, spending some inheritance has proven to ease my parents' pain some. And I got an electric shaver and Half Life 2, yesssss! Now I can shave everything I was afraid of nicking.

My mom made a killer turkey. No, really, our lives were in danger... nyuk, nyuk, nyuk. Good to see my folks, especially what new creative endeavors my dad undertakes every 30 days or so. This month it's dropping bombs on the neighbors and DVD transmission!

Tomorrow I'll have breakfast w/ some peeps, go to church w/ Zac (as is required by Wallowa law), and go help Pandaman with his homework.

My farts smell like death tonight.
Should I seriously think about joining the Peace Corps?

In my absence Andrea was able to concentrate on the GRE and passed with flying florescent colours! Congrats! I need me some of that sweet, sweet brain of her's.

Here is a link to where I am, so you all can have sympathy for me. I'm here 'till Tuesday, folks! Does anybody want me to bring back moonshine?

And then you said:

Seriously man... if you're gonna use that name, do it correctly! It's "DA Bunch" dammit... =)

As far as the Bee goes, damn... this site's gonna be targeted soon man... I bet on it... you've got footage of kids using explosives, and now you're talking about your dad bombing the neighbors and making "alcoh... [61 more to go]

G Dawg - if only it were that simple. My pa got a sweet new engine for his Bee though, for the purpose of dropping the aforementioned bombs.
Garhan, 11-29-2004 with $19.14
Ohh, and now for a random useless fact of the day - I used to live 8 pixels west and 2 pixels south of that dot by Lostine in the "sympathy" link above...

Thanks Mike and Garhan for the GRE props!

Mike, thanks for the offer, but I've got some Drano under the sink so I'm all set.

Can I put a request in to not hear about your "death farts" in the future? Flowers and glitter from here on, please.
Garhan, 11-28-2004 with $20.09
Moonshine, clam chowder, and chicken strips ... ... er, maybe not

I'm curious as to this "DVD transmission" - please tell me it doesn't involve using the EZ Bee II to transmit DVDs ... er, not sure how that would work but I just wanted to get an EZ Bee II comment in!

Congrats on the GRE Andrea... [148 more to go]
