Nickel kitten jazz hands
Tunes The Postal Service - Nothing Better

Another week, another post. I do have some really big news: have you seen KittenWar.com? It's like Hot or Not, but for kittens! I love this website. See the cutest kittens you've ever seen! And the ugliest, too! Don't forget Sara's cat Casanova, and her mom's twin terrors Sushi and Neko. I've been spending a lot of time there. Thanks to Salt-n-Pepa Jason for the good news.

Unfortunate events have come to pass on this site - earlier this week I got about 90 'A piece of your peace' comments thrown around on different pages, no doubt due to a search engine spider (though it appears to have originated from Romania, which I find really interesting). I've added a thing to prevent those from happening. It's a good thing.

The other troublesome thing is that on my last post I received two, count'em, two comments by strangers with their own views on my sexual orientation, and some very special words to express that. I don't appreciate that very much, but I am aware that this site is open to the world at large. Hate comments aren't cool. Shame on you two, high schooler from Cali and Comcast user from Chicago. I'm going to steal your identities.

So what have I been doing all week? For the most part, spending time with Alice. We went to the top of the Space Needle! Rode the monorail! Witnessed a Sponge Bob Square Dance! Jazz! Mario Kart! I'm under the impression she doesn't like to be written about, so I'll leave it there.

Have you seen the new Nickel? I had no idea this was going on. All this new, flashy currency! I'm a little freaked out by it though - Jefferson's head is so big, and cropped in a way to make his massive face seem even larger. He has no ears! It's almost like a 'big brother is watching you' face... just so big...

Dollar store cholocate is the best!

Homeboy Garhan needs a new domain name. For those that don't know Garhan, he's well skilled in the arts of computers and electronics, with the proper quirkiness required of all those I associate with. Here are some ideas I thought of (though I haven't checked them), please submit your own here:
- fungus.com
- garfunkle.com
- transistorFever.com
- funkatron.com
- danceMasterG.com
- gabbaGabbaHey.com

I shall leave you with these lovely images - I really need a photo gallery up in this hizzay.

Seattle Center @ Sunset
That would be the Seattle Center from high in the sky. Key Arena's not really that big. Nuclear apocalypse comes from the western horizon!

PirkQlators @ Zack's Casa
The PirkQlators at their sold-out house show in Zack's ex-basement.

Dude, no
Some guy at Neighbours - ha ha. I'll bet his mama's real proud.

Perspective madness!
I think that's neat.

Don't listen to her, Mike. DIY or die. It's just DHTML you can so do it. Then again, you've got the new lady friend and Flickr is mighty easy. Are you just battling inside? Nerd versus Party Guy?
kat, 5-31-2005 with $20.45
forget a photo gallery, yo, you should get flickr. it rules. you can subscribe to an rss feed of your latest photos. and you can annotate photos with mouse-over comments. it's sweet.
Bunch, 5-31-2005 with $18.57
Ok, had to check back on comments ya know...

Very sorry Garhan, that joke is SO damned old, I'm embarrassed mentioning it because it implies that I have little creativity whatsoever. =)

And I'll have you know Mr. Karikas that I was up till 12:15AM Mountain time yesterday, so my post on this w... [324 more to go]

Ahh yes, that damned element #15 ... sad thing is, my research makes me say phosphorus almost every day -- thankfully without any unwanted alterations in my vocal pattern. Seems who ever runs www.phosphorus.com isn't in any hurry to put something there, as phosphorus.com gives a "n... [524 more to go]

Oh my God! Bunch is back! And he's up way past sunset! I think phosphorus.com is the winner.

Jason - you're dead wrong about the nickel. Can you imagine a 24¢ increase on low-priced store items? Think about parking, fountains, and POW bubblegum. Pennies, however, have outworn their welcome. Nic... [16 more to go]

In a rare posting moment, I give my two cents, as it were...

I say "www.phosphorus.com" is the best choice, but I suppose only for a short list of folks who understand.

The page appears to be taken to some degree, as it displays the text "Welcome to www.phosphorus.com!", with an appropriate "!... [332 more to go]

Why do we even have nickels anymore? Or for that matter dimes or (especially) pennies. None of these coins can purchase anything on their own. We could do away with the lot of them and save an assload of money — not to mention the spared resources. Plus, by rounding everything up to the nearest quarter would ... [142 more to go]
